Yesterday was a not-so-good day and my blog posting was rather distressing. Reading it over again, I wanted to mention that a) When Lena was calling for help it was because her bunny fell between the beds and she couldn't reach it (I was checking in on her every 5-10mins, I hadn't just left her up there for an hour yelling "help!", b) Lena did not nap, c)Lena woke Carmen up, d)Both girls were cranky, but e)The world did not crumble.
Yes, they were tired all afternoon. We didn't go out like I planned because Lena was acting tired and having accidents in her undies, which is weird because she hadn't had any accidents for a week. Tired? I don't know, but the world did not crumble.
Today I sat in their room with them until they fell asleep, then snuck out. I will have to do this for a while I think, as it's better than the alternative.
Now, to rest until they wake up.

Hang in there! As a fellow mother of twins, believe me, I understand how important and yet full of pitfalls naptime is! My twins are almost 7 months old, so I like reading your blot to remind myself that others have made it throughthe first year and I will, too. You have come through so much already and you are doing great!
Thank you Kristin :) Sometimes when I'm having a nap-time battle I have flashbacks to the severe anxiety that was the first year! I have to remind myself that they're old enough now that if they miss a nap it's going to be ok.
I just went and checked out your blog but I see you haven't blogged in a while. Do you think you'll pick it up again?
I'd like to start up the blog again, if I could find time to get onthe computer. My Internet browsing is currently done via Kindle (portable! Easy to hold while holding a baby!) But I'm terrible at typing on it! :)
