Snap Snap Snap Snap Snap... Snap Snap... Snap Snap... Snap. Dammit! Unsnap... Unsnap... Snap Snap.
That's me doing up ONE pair of pajamas. Who invented the snap?! Seriously! I can't figure those damn things out - I'm in a rush and I'm trying to get someone's pajamas on and there's no time for these silly snaps. Half the time they end up all messed up and I just leave it. Who thought it would be a good idea to give a tired mom a puzzle to solve every time she has to change a diaper or change someone's pajamas?
And although I prefer zippers - I'd like to know who decided to make the standard for baby zippered pajamas. Seriously, I'd like to have a good talking with them about why they chose to start the zipper at the top, near the baby's neck. So whenever it's time for a diaper change (8-10 times a day), baby gets a nice cold waft of air as I zip her entire outfit all the way down. If the zipper was at the bottom going up, I wouldn't have to open it past her waist.
Seriously baby designers! If you don't sort out your zippers and snaps, I'm going to SNAP!

where's a "like" button on this page? i would have "liked" this post several times
I definitely preferred the snaps when Jackson was little since they were the only pyjamas that would fit over his harness, but now? With a squirmy 1-year-old? Snaps are a NIGHTMARE!!!
And also, how 'bout making the zipper about 11 inches shorter so they don't bunch up in their face. Nothing like a severe rooting fit because of a damn zipper. I hear ya, mama. Oh, and I love what you said about giving a tired mom a puzzle to solve everytime she changes a diaper: so TRUE! It's even worse for a tired dad!!! They don't seem to care as much. Loranda, your blog rocks. Love Erin
i have swapped most of our jammies over to two piece ones. i hate doing up snaps, i don't like the zipper as i feel i'm going to nick him every time i do them up, and two piece jammies make him look like a little boy!!
i'm definitely with you on these baby designers though...clearly they don't have kids!
Erin, I laughed SO hard when you mentioned the severe rooting fit! Hahahahhaha That's happened way too many times over here.
