Those secret moments when you lay your tired head against my chest and suck your thumb. When you don't know I'm watching you and you lay there, pleasantly looking around at the world. When you look at me and smile, when I tickle you and make you giggle. When you babble happily to yourselves, or each other. Those sacred moments when my heart explodes with joy and I just want to share it with the whole world. I want everyone to see you through my eyes, to feel the way only I can feel, to know this all-consuming love.
As challenging as this is, I'd do it over and over again, just for those moments.

And there will be so many more magical moments that take your breath away when you least expect it!
Sometimes the simplest, silliest things are enough to bring tears to my eyes. Those moments make the hardest times entirely worthwhile.
